Satish Parashar

We are over here in Hari Nagar, specifically at A-117. It’s a decent neighborhood in New Delhi, and I’ve been working from this spot for quite a while now. Satish Parashar is the name on the door, but most folks around here just know me by sight. The office is pretty basic. We have a couple of desks and some chairs, nothing that would win any design awards. Most of my day involves sitting here, taking calls, and dealing with the paperwork that piles up. New Delhi 110064 is where I grew up, so staying here to run my business just made sense to me. It’s not a huge corporation or anything like that. It’s just me and a little bit of help when things get really backed up. Sometimes the printer jams or the tea runs out, and we just deal with it. We don't have a fancy reception or a glossy brochure to hand out. People usually find us through word of mouth or if they live nearby and see us working late. It’s a simple life and a simple business. I like being able to walk to work and knowing the people at the corner shop. It’s more about the routine than anything else. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on and that's plenty for me. If you’re ever near the A block, you might see me out front.
