Samrudhi Agro Seeds

We have been here in Khyala Phase II for a while now, just near the Samaj Kalyan area in Vikas Puri. It’s a busy spot most mornings. My desk is usually covered in papers and sample bags because there is always something to sort out with the seeds. People come in asking about what to plant when the season changes, and we try to keep the shelves stocked with whatever is needed for the local plots. The shop isn't fancy or anything. It has that smell of earth and dried things which I've gotten used to over the years. Some days the delivery trucks block the narrow road and we have to rush to move bags inside before it rains. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others keeping track of the inventory. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars who have been buying from us since we first opened the doors. It’s a lot of work handling the different types of agro seeds, making sure nothing gets damp or ruined by the heat. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the door where there's a bit of a breeze. It's a simple life here in this part of Delhi.
