Sa Re Ga Ma

Our shop, Sa Re Ga Ma, is tucked away in Karampura at F-142. It’s not a huge place, but it fits everything we need. Most of the time, the air is filled with whatever music we happen to be playing that morning. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit now, and the neighbors are all familiar faces. Dealing with music is just what we do every day. People come in looking for specific things, and we do our best to find it in the stacks we have. Karampura can get a bit loud during the day, but inside the shop, it feels a bit more relaxed. We don’t really have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. The shelves are a bit dusty sometimes, and the layout isn't exactly modern, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time just chatting with folks who drop by to see what’s new or to talk about old songs. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We open up early and usually stay until the sun goes down. There isn't much to the place besides the instruments and the recordings, but it feels like home to us. If you’re ever walking past the F block, you’ll probably hear us before you see us. We like the rhythm of this street, even when it gets a bit chaotic with the local traffic.
