Richi Rich

Richi Rich is located on Shivaji Marg right across from that big DLF Tower. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how the traffic can be, especially during the morning rush. The noise from the street never really stops, so we just got used to it. The place has been here for a while and we see a lot of office workers coming over from the tower when they finally get a break. I usually spend my time making sure the seating area is tidy and that the kitchen is ready for the next wave of people. It’s not the biggest place in the world but we make it work. Sometimes it gets a bit smoky when the stove is going full tilt, so we have to keep the back door cracked open a bit. People come in, eat, and leave pretty quick usually since everyone in Delhi seems to be in a hurry for something. We don’t really have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget, just the name on the front and some regular customers who have been coming for years. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when the weather is hot and the fridge starts acting up, but that's just part of running a shop on a busy road. Even when things get hectic, we just try to get the orders right and keep the tables clear. We just keep things moving one day at a time.
