Priyanka Dugar

I am based right in the middle of things at Connaught Place, specifically over in Bengali Market at R 1 2. It’s a very busy part of Delhi, so there is always noise and people moving about outside the window. I’ve been running my business here for a good amount of time. It’s just me, Priyanka Dugar, handling the daily operations. I don't have a large staff or a fancy suite of offices. My workspace is pretty basic. I have a desk, a phone, and my computer. Most of my day is spent on the phone or responding to emails and messages. Since I’m in Bengali Market, I usually grab lunch from one of the food stalls nearby. It’s one of the perks of being in this location. I don't really go for all that corporate talk. I just tell people what I can do and then I do it. I don't have any big slogans or goals to take over the market. I’m happy just keeping things small and manageable. People appreciate that I'm easy to reach and that I don't give them a runaround. The building is older, but it has character. I like the history of this area. It feels like a real place to work. I don't use any complicated systems. I just keep my notes in a diary and stay on top of my deadlines. It works for me and it works for the people I work with. That's all that matters.
