R K & Company is situated at 16/53 B, Punjabi Bagh. This part of town is a bit more paved and organized than the old markets, but we still have our own way of doing things. The shop is basically our second home. We spend more time here than we do at our own houses most weeks. It’s not a big corporate setup. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that have been with us since we started. Most of our day is spent handling orders and talking to people on the phone. It can get a bit boring when it’s slow, so we usually end up reading the newspaper or watching the cars go by outside. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. If someone needs something, they find us. We try to be helpful when people ask questions, but we don't go out of our way to act like we're something we're not. It’s just a straightforward business. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because there's always something else to do. It’s a steady life, and we are happy enough with how things are going. We just keep showing up, doing the work, and going home at the end of the day.
