R. A. Engineering Industries

You can find R. A. Engineering Industries over at E-169 in Maya Puri, Phase-II. It is a crowded area with lots of small shops and bigger factories all mixed together. We do engineering work, which basically means we are always fixing things or making parts. The air in Maya Puri always smells like grease and burnt metal. It is just the way it is here. Our shop isn't very large so we have to stay organized or we would run out of room. We have some lathes and milling machines that have been with us for a long time. They are solid and they don't give us much trouble if we treat them right. A lot of the people who work here have lived in Delhi their whole lives. We drink a lot of tea while we talk about the jobs for the day. It is a noisy place but you stop noticing it after an hour or two. We don't have any fancy brochures. People usually hear about us from someone else in the industrial area. We just try to get the measurements right and finish the work on time. It is a simple life in the workshop. We open up early and stay until the work is finished, then we head home through the Delhi traffic. Dealing with the scrap metal buyers is also part of our regular weekly routine.
