We’re based out of A 107 in Vikas Puri, which is a busy part of New Delhi. Being in the 110018 area means there’s always something happening right outside the door. Pipal Research isn’t a massive firm with a lobby and a security guard. It’s just us in a regular building, trying to stay on top of our workload. We spend our hours digging through archives, searching online, and putting together reports that make sense. It’s the kind of work that requires patience and a lot of eye drops. The office is a bit cluttered with papers and old files, but we know where everything is. We don't really follow a strict corporate dress code or anything. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable because we aren't trying to impress anyone with our clothes. Our focus is entirely on the quality of the research we produce. When the weather is nice, we might open a window, though the noise from the street can be a bit much sometimes. We’ve built a little community here among the staff. We share snacks and complain about the commute, just like everyone else. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don't have a fancy mission statement on the wall. We just show up and do the work because that’s what we are here for. It’s simple and it works for us.
