Our business is based out of S-4/1 in the Mahavir Nagar area of Tilak Nagar. If you walk past our shop, you will see it is mostly filled with rolls of fabric and old photo albums of the stages we have built over the years. We handle the food and the decorations for a lot of the local functions around here. It started out as just helping a few neighbors with their parties, and then more people started asking for our help. We have a small godown nearby where we keep all the heavy stuff like the tent poles and the lights. My cousins handle a lot of the heavy lifting while I stay in the kitchen to check on the spices. Tilak Nagar can get very crowded, so we have learned exactly which backstreets to take to avoid getting stuck with a truck full of food. We do not have a big team of designers or anything like that. We just look at the space and decide where the buffet should go so people do not get bunched up. If a bulb goes out or a table cloth gets stained, we just fix it right then and there. It is a family thing, really. We eat the same food we serve, so we know it tastes right. People around the block know where to find us if they need something done.
