Orchid Hospital & Heart Centre

We are located at C-3/91 in Janak Puri. This building has been our base for quite some time. It’s a mix of a general hospital and a place where we look at heart issues specifically. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we get to know the families living nearby. The waiting area has some old wooden chairs that are surprisingly comfortable. We don’t have those big TV screens showing ads. Instead, we have a small notice board with local announcements and health tips pinned to it. Some of the pins are rusty. The doctors here aren't in a rush to push you out the door. We take our time, even if it means the schedule runs a bit late sometimes. We’ve had the same receptionist for ten years, and she knows most patients by their first names. The stairs are a bit narrow, so we tell people to take it slow. In the heart center part, the machines beep quite a lot, which can be annoying if you aren't used to it. We try to keep the atmosphere calm. Sometimes the delivery guy leaves the packages at the wrong door, and we have to go hunting for them. It’s a busy life, but it’s good. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We just provide medical care to the people who walk through our doors in Janak Puri. It’s a straightforward operation, run by people who live nearby. We keep a jar of hard candies on the counter for the kids who are brave.
