If you’ve ever been to Kirti Nagar, you know how crazy the furniture market gets. We are at A-65 in the W.H.S. area. Nirmal Furniture Mart is basically a big warehouse full of wood and sawdust. We spend our days dealing with transport trucks and people looking for a bargain. Kirti Nagar is the heart of this stuff, so we have to stay on our toes. We don't have a polished sales pitch. Usually, we are just showing people the difference between different types of wood or explaining why one chair costs more than the other. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure things don't get scratched in the warehouse. We’ve been in this spot for years. The building is a bit old, but it does the job. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique. We just want to sell good furniture that stays together. Most of our customers are just regular folks trying to fill up a new flat. We talk to them like neighbors because that's what feels right. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break, but mostly it's just work. If you come to W.H.S., you'll see our sign. It's not the biggest, but we're here every day making sure the orders go out. It gets loud and messy, but that is just the way we like to work.
