You have to look for R 47A on the first floor in Gurpreet Nagar to find us. We are quite close to the Uttam Nagar West Metro Station which is lucky because the traffic in this part of New Delhi is usually stuck. Nexengg Consultency Private Limited is our small office where we handle engineering related consulting. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs but once you’re here it’s alright. The office is usually filled with rolls of drawings and stacks of folders. We’ve got a couple of computers that stay on all day. It’s noisy outside with the metro passing and the honking on the main road but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started this company because we had the experience and wanted to work for ourselves. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with a receptionist or a coffee machine. If you want water you just help yourself from the dispenser in the corner. We spend most of our time looking at plans or talking to clients on the phone. Sometimes we have to go out to sites which is the tiring part. But mostly we are here, trying to get the calculations right and making sure the paperwork is in order. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking. We just try to do an honest day's work. Our files are a bit messy sometimes but we never lose anything important.
