Modi Traders

Our place is located at H.No. 5 in Ambica Vihar. It’s actually just a part of the house we converted for Modi Traders. It stays pretty quiet around here compared to the main market area, which is nice for getting work done without too much noise. We deal with various trading goods and keep the inventory right where we can see it. Sometimes the boxes pile up near the entrance, but we manage to keep things moving. It started out small and stayed that way because we like knowing exactly what’s going on with every order. Usually, it’s just one or two of us handling everything from the paperwork to the heavy lifting. There aren't any fancy signs out front, just the address. People usually find us by word of mouth or if they live nearby in the colony. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists to make sure we have what people are asking for. The weather can make things a bit tricky in the monsoon since we have to be careful about the stock staying dry. We’ve been at this for some years now. It’s not a big corporate setup or anything like that. Just a local trade business run out of a residential spot. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It keeps us going through the busy mornings and the slow afternoons alike.
