Mehra Eye & Cardiac Centre

Our centre is at Shop No-456 in Najafgarh, right in the Rati Ram Park area near Naya Bazar Tura Mand. This is a very old and crowded part of Delhi, so there’s always a lot of activity around us. You can hear the vendors shouting in the bazaar and the constant honking of rickshaws. The shop itself is tucked away among many others, and it can be a bit hard to find if you aren't looking for the sign. We handle both eye and heart issues here, which keeps us pretty busy most days. The waiting area is small, just a few plastic chairs lined up against the wall. We have the eye testing charts and the heart monitoring equipment in the back rooms. It’s not a fancy setup; the tiles on the floor are a bit worn from all the people walking in over the years. We start the day by cleaning the glass on the cabinets and making sure the equipment is plugged in. The air inside can get a bit warm when the shop is full of people, but we have a couple of wall fans that stay on all day. Most of our patients are elderly people from the Najafgarh area who have been coming to this market for years. It’s a very local feel here, where people often stop to chat about the weather or the prices in the mandi while they wait for their checkup. It’s just a regular part of the daily life in this busy market neighborhood.
