Manohar Lal & Brothers

Manohar Lal & Brothers is based in Office No Y/324 in the Janta Market at Nangloi. We are right opposite the Ramlila Ground, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. The market is always crowded and full of life. It’s a bit of a maze to get to our office, but once you find Y/324, you’re there. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We have stacks of ledgers and a lot of old wooden furniture. It’s not a fancy corporate office with air conditioning that works perfectly all the time. We use fans mostly. In the afternoons, you can hear the noise from the market coming through the windows. We’ve been in Nangloi for a long time and know many of the other shopkeepers. The office is small and a bit cramped with all the paperwork we keep. We don't really use much technology beyond the basics. It’s about doing things the way we’ve always done them. Sometimes we sit outside on the stools when it’s nice. It’s a practical place for us. We don't need much else. Being across from the ground is nice because there’s a sense of space when you step outside. We just show up, do the work, and close up shop in the evening. Our sign is hand-painted and a bit faded now, but it still works.
