Life Insurance Corporation

You can find us tucked away at 99 Lane No 6, over in the Press Enclave part of Vikas Nagar here in Delhi. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to these streets. We operate as Life Insurance Corporation. The office is pretty small, mostly just a few desks and some filing cabinets pushed against the walls. In the summer, the cooler is always running because it gets quite hot in this part of town. People drop by from the neighborhood to drop off checks or ask about their receipts. We spend a lot of time looking through big ledgers or typing things into the old computers we have. It’s not a high-tech place, just a workspace where we get the job done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just wait it out and talk. There’s a tea stall just around the corner that we go to when things get quiet. We see a lot of families coming in together to talk about their future plans. We don’t have any fancy carpets or anything like that. It’s just a plain room with enough light to read the fine print on the forms. If you're looking for us, look for the sign near Press Enclave. We've been at this spot for a good while now and the locals know us.
