Talk about Mayapuri. It's dusty. The CNG pump is right there, so traffic is constant. We spend most of the day with our hands dirty. It’s an industrial area, Phase II, so there’s always noise of tools and trucks. We’ve been here at W 112 for a while now. Some days are slow, others we can't even sit down for lunch. It’s just us doing what needs doing for the cars that come in. The shop isn't fancy. There are spare parts piled up in the corners. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out. It's just a regular motor place. People find us because we're near the pump. It’s not a quiet job, but it’s what we do. The floor is usually covered in oil spots that don't come out. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. Just the workspace and some old chairs for when someone has to wait. Usually, they just walk over to get tea while we look at the engines. It gets hot in the summer under the tin roof, but that's just part of it. We keep the tools organized as much as we can, though things get lost under the benches sometimes. It's a busy corner of Mayapuri. We try to keep things moving. If a truck blocks the entrance, we just have to wait for them to finish unloading. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things over. We don’t really do anything flashy here, just the mechanical stuff people need.
