Working with spices means you spend your whole day sneezing and smelling like cardamom or chili. That’s just life at Kavya Nuts And Spices Llp. We are located at K64/1 over in Agola Dinanath. It’s an old-school kind of place. We have bags of walnuts, almonds, and different whole spices piled up everywhere. It’s not the most organized-looking shop, but we know where everything is. My family has been around the trade for a while, and we just decided to keep it going here. We spend a lot of time sorting through the stock by hand. You have to check for stones or bad bits, especially with the dried fruits. It’s tedious work, but if you don't do it, the quality just isn't there. We don't use any fancy packaging or big machines. It’s mostly just us weighing things out on the scale and putting them into bags for the local customers. People from around the neighborhood come in for their daily needs, and we like the chat. The air in here is always thick with the smell of whatever we just opened. Some days it’s pepper, other days it’s turmeric. It gets on your clothes and stays there. We aren't a big supermarket, just a local spot doing things the old way. We try to keep the prices fair and the bins full. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do.
