Our office is tucked away in 907-A of the Kirti Shikhar building right in the middle of Janakpuri District Centre. It’s a busy spot with people always rushing around outside, but inside we just focus on getting the travel stuff sorted. We spend most of our mornings checking flight prices and seeing which hotels are actually worth staying in. It’s a small space with a few desks and a lot of papers scattered about. People come in looking for a holiday or just a ticket back home, and we sit down to figure out the dates that work. Sometimes the computers are slow or the phone won’t stop ringing, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We handle a lot of the visa paperwork too which is always a bit of a headache with all the forms and stamps needed. Janakpuri is a good place to be because there are always people nearby who need to go somewhere. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just some maps and calendars. Most days it is just us answering emails and talking to folks who walk in off the street. Travel can be a mess if you don’t have the right papers, so we spend a lot of time double checking everything to make sure it’s right. It’s not a glamorous job, but seeing someone get their tickets and look happy is a decent way to spend the day here in the city.
