Karan Motors

Karan Motors is found in the Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase I B 67. It’s a loud place with a lot of heavy machinery and trucks moving in and out all day long. My workshop is mostly filled with old car parts, tools, and the smell of engine oil. I started this place with just a toolbox and a lot of patience. Now I have a couple of boys helping me with the heavier repairs. We get all sorts of vehicles coming in, some just need a quick fix and others stay for weeks. The floor is always stained with grease, no matter how much we try to scrub it. We don't have a waiting room or anything like that. Most people just stand around and watch us work or go get a tea from the stall down the road. It’s hard work, especially in the heat when the metal gets too hot to touch. I spend a lot of time under car hoods or lying on a creeper on the ground. We don’t really do any fancy marketing; most people find us because their friend told them we could fix their engine. It’s just a basic garage where we get our hands dirty and try to get the cars back on the road. It’s what I’ve been doing my whole life and I don’t know much else, but it keeps the bills paid.
