Kamal Paneer Bhandar

Our shop, Kamal Paneer Bhandar, is located in Uttam Nagar 4 on Vani Vihar Road, right at RZ-109. It’s a busy little spot, especially in the mornings when the fresh milk arrives. I usually get here before the sun is fully up to start getting things ready. The paneer is made fresh every single day, and you can usually smell it from the street. We’ve been serving the local community here for quite a while now. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights and big displays. We just have our counters, the big refrigerators, and the weighing scales. Most of our customers are neighbors who come in for a bit of curd or some loose milk for their tea. The traffic on Vani Vihar Road can get pretty bad in the evenings, so people are often in a rush. We try to serve everyone quickly so they can get home. My father started this business and I’ve just sort of kept it going. The fridge has this constant hum that I don’t even notice anymore, though visitors sometimes mention it. We don't do any big advertising or have a website. People just know we are here. If someone is short a few rupees, we usually just tell them to bring it next time. It’s that kind of neighborhood. On Sundays, we are extra busy because everyone wants to cook something nice at home. It’s a simple life but it keeps us on our feet.
