Al Karma

It’s a bit of a climb up to the second floor here at M-19A in New Mahavir Nagar. We’ve been at this spot in New Delhi for a while now. Al Karma is just the name on the door. People usually call us before they come over because the stairs can be a lot if you're not used to them. The neighborhood is always busy. There’s a lot of noise from the street downstairs, but once you get up to the second floor, it’s a bit quieter. We keep things pretty simple here. We have our desks set up and we just get on with the work. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical space where we can focus. Sometimes the electricity acts up in the afternoon, but that’s just how it is around here. We know the neighbors pretty well. Most of the people around New Mahavir Nagar are hard workers. We like being part of this community. It feels real. If you’re looking for us, just look for the M-19A building. It’s easy to miss if you aren’t paying attention to the numbers. We don't have a big flashing sign. We just have Al Karma written clearly so you know you’re in the right place. It’s just us doing what we do every day. It gets a bit dusty in the summer months, but we try to keep the place tidy. There is a tea stall around the corner that we go to often. It’s nice to have a spot where everyone knows your name.
