Jyoti Book Depot

The shop is located over at 19 7A in Moti Nagar, New Delhi Delhi 110015 India. If you’ve walked through this part of the city, you’ve probably seen the stacks of books we have piled up inside. It is a bit crowded in here because we try to keep a lot of different things in stock for the local students and readers. We’ve got shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes finding a specific title takes a minute or two of searching through the rows. The floor is a bit worn down from people coming in and out all day long. We don't really go for a modern look; it’s more about having what people need when they come through the door. Usually, there’s a stack of new arrivals sitting near the entrance waiting to be sorted. It gets a bit dusty with all the paper, but we try to keep it tidy enough so you can move around. Most of the time, we are busy checking lists or helping someone find a notebook or a pen. It is just a regular book depot where the main goal is to keep things moving. Moti Nagar is a busy place, and we are just one small part of the noise and the daily rush. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, but we know our way around every corner of this room. It's a simple life behind the counter, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
