We operate out of Jg Iii/17 A in Vikaspuri. It's a regular residential building where we set up our workspace. The neighbors know us well by now. We deal with houses and flats right here in the local blocks. Usually, someone knocks on the door because they saw a sign or heard from a cousin that we know about a vacant flat. We don't have a big reception area or a receptionist. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up to see who it is. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking if landlords have changed their minds about prices. The filing cabinet in the corner is a bit rusty, but it holds all the paperwork we need. Vikaspuri has a lot of narrow lanes, so we do a lot of walking to show people around. It's better than trying to park a car every five minutes. Our desks are a bit cluttered with half-empty water bottles and old notebooks. We don't use much technology besides a basic computer for typing up agreements. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We know which buildings have good water supply and which ones get a bit damp in the rains. Folks around here just want a decent place without too much fuss, and that’s what we try to help with. It’s just a simple neighborhood business run by people who live here too.
