Jagdish Marwaha Associates

You can find Jagdish Marwaha Associates on the sixth floor of Kirti Shikhar, which is part of the Janakpuri District Center. Being in room 603 means we have a pretty good view of the surrounding area, though we’re often too busy to look out the window. The District Center is a massive hub of activity, and the elevators in Kirti Shikhar are always busy, so we often find ourselves waiting a few minutes just to get up to the office. Our space is relatively small but we’ve managed to fit in everything we need. There’s a main desk where Jagdish sits, and a couple of smaller ones for the rest of us. We have books stacked on the floor because the shelves are already full, and there’s always a faint smell of old paper in the air. The air conditioning unit is a bit loud and rattles when it’s on full blast, but it’s necessary during the Delhi summers. We usually go downstairs for lunch because there are so many small food stalls in the District Center that it’s easier than bringing something from home. It’s a professional enough environment, but it definitely feels like a local office where people actually work hard. We don't have any polished reception area or fancy art on the walls. It’s just a place where we get through our list of things to do every single day without any extra frills.
