Manas Kunj is a busy little pocket of Uttam Nagar, and that’s where you’ll find Ishwar Consultants at Rz 117. New Delhi 110059 is a crowded pin code, so there is always something happening right outside our window. We have a small office that we’ve set up to help people with their paperwork and various consulting needs. It’s not a big corporate firm; it’s more of a local place where the neighbors stop by when they are confused about a form or a process. The stairs leading up are a bit narrow, and you have to watch your step. Inside, we have a couple of computers that are almost always on, and the printer is usually warm. We spend most of our time talking to people on the phone or sitting across the desk explaining things. It gets a bit noisy during the peak hours when the traffic in Uttam Nagar is at its worst, but we’ve learned to work through it. Our desks are covered in notebooks and pens, and there’s usually a calendar on the wall with lots of scribbled dates. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting lounge; people just come in and take a seat if one is free. It’s a humble operation, but we stay busy from morning till evening. We like being part of the Manas Kunj community because everyone knows everyone else around here.
