We are based in the Mayapuri Industrial Area, specifically in Phase-II at C-102. If you know anything about Mayapuri, you know it is a place where things are built and torn apart every single day. It is a very gritty and loud neighborhood to work in. Our unit is tucked away among many others that look just like it. At Indo Artastic Eng. Pvt. Ltd., we do a lot of engineering work, mostly things that need a bit of precision but also involve some heavy lifting. The floor is made of old concrete and usually has some oil stains or marks from moving heavy parts around. We aren't really the type to spend money on decorations or a nice lobby. There is just a small, cluttered desk in the corner where we keep the registers and the phone. Most of the time, we are in the back near the machines. We have a few old lathes that still work fine even after all these years. It is basically a family-run business, even if the name sounds a bit more formal. We have a small crew of workers who have lived nearby for a long time. We usually eat our lunch together right there on the shop floor. The air in this area is always thick with the smell of metal being cut and the smoke from welding torches. It is just the environment we are used to. People often come in with just a hand-drawn sketch, and we do our best to make what they need.
