Independent

Living and working in Paschim Vihar has its own rhythm. My place is in B 3, specifically number 330, and it serves as the base for everything I do. New Delhi is always moving at a million miles an hour, but back here in the residential blocks, it’s a bit more manageable. I’m an independent professional, which mostly means I’m the one answering the phone, doing the paperwork, and managing the schedule. It’s a one-man show through and through. I don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just come to the address and that’s where the work happens. Some people like the big office feel, but I prefer the flexibility of being on my own. Vsnathan and Ossrinivasan are the names associated with the spot, and we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors don't ask too many questions anymore. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular part of the Delhi landscape. It’s practical and it keeps the overhead low, which is how I like to run things. I spend a lot of time at my desk here, making sure the day-to-day stuff gets finished. It isn't always perfect, and sometimes the Delhi heat makes the afternoon slow, but I get the job done. This is just a local setup for someone who values doing things independently without the corporate headache. I really like the independence a lot.
