Our office is tucked away in Vikas Kunj, which is a residential colony in the Vikas Puri area of Delhi. Specifically, we are at Flat No 1152. Because it’s a flat, it doesn't really feel like a typical sterile bank branch. It has more of a homey, quiet vibe, though we still have all the usual office equipment like computers and printers humming all day. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we see people going about their daily lives, like kids going to school or elders on their morning walks. The commute can be a bit tricky because of the narrow lanes inside the Kunj, but it’s a peaceful place to work. Inside the flat, we’ve arranged the desks to make the most of the space. The lighting in the main room is good, but the back rooms where we store the old ledgers can be a bit dark and dusty. During the winter months, we keep the windows shut to stay warm and drink plenty of hot tea. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait for the technician to come by from the main road. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have a large staff, so everyone knows each other well. We handle the banking entries and help out the local residents who stop by with questions. It is a straightforward, practical setup for us here in Delhi.
