We operate out of a small office in Roop Nagar, right across from Kamla Nagar. It is house number 9D in Block 5. Most of our day is spent talking to people about where they want to live or what kind of space they need for a shop. It is a lot of walking around the neighborhood and showing people different flats or rooms. We know these streets pretty well since we have been here for a while. Sometimes the market is slow and other times everyone seems to be moving at once. We handle the paperwork and try to make sure the keys get handed over without too much fuss. It is not always easy dealing with landlords and tenants, but it is the job. We keep a lot of files and notebooks with listings. The office isn't anything special, just a desk and a few chairs for visitors to sit while we go over the details. We do not do big advertisements; mostly people just walk in because they saw our sign or heard about us from a neighbor. It is practical work. We tell people what is available and what the rent looks like. Roop Nagar is a busy area, so there is always someone looking for a change. We just help them find a place that fits what they are looking for without making things too complicated for anyone.
