I. H. Engineers

Our workshop is located at B-88/5 in Maya Puri, Phase-I. If you know this part of Delhi, you know it is a place where things actually get built and repaired. I. H. Engineers has been around for a while, and the place definitely looks like a working engineering shop. There is usually a bit of grease on the floor and the sound of machines humming in the background. It is not a quiet office environment by any means. We are constantly working on different projects, and there’s always someone around with a wrench or a blueprint in their hand. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and we have tools hanging in places where they are easy to grab. We don't really have a reception area; if you walk in, you’re likely to just see us working. We take our tea breaks together, usually sitting on whatever is available. It’s a practical way of living. We don’t worry much about how the place looks to outsiders as long as the machines are running right and the parts are being made to the right specs. Everyone here knows their job. We’ve had the same crew for a long time, so we don't have to say much to understand what needs to happen next. It is just honest, manual work that keeps us busy from morning until we close the shutters for the evening.
