Hind Tour & Travels

You can find our office at G 3 in Mahavira Tower, over in Paschim Vihar. It’s right near the Jwala Heri Market, so it stays pretty lively around here. Hind Tour & Travels is a small operation. We have a couple of desks, some maps on the wall that are probably a bit out of date, and a lot of brochures for different places. People usually come in to ask about train tickets or bus routes. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking schedules or calling up hotels to see if they have rooms. The office isn't very big, so when a family of four comes in, it feels quite full. We have a small teapot and a few extra chairs for when people want to sit and discuss their plans. The market noise drifts in whenever the door opens. We try to keep things simple. We aren't a giant travel corporation, just a local spot where people can get their travel stuff sorted out without too much fuss. Sometimes we deal with cancellations and angry phone calls when a flight is delayed, but that’s just part of the business. Most days are just about helping someone figure out the best way to get from one city to another. It’s a steady job and we like being in this neighborhood. We just take things one booking at a time and try to stay organized.
