We’re based at Da Block, Flat No 36E in Hari Nagar. It’s a residential-feeling area for an office, but that’s where Hewitt Associates India Pvt Ltd works from. Being in New Delhi 110064 means we’re right in the thick of things. The flat has been converted into a workspace, so it has a different vibe than a tall office tower. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We have our computers and some shelves that are overflowing with files we probably should have archived years ago. The lighting isn't always the best, but we’ve got some desk lamps to help out. We don't have a receptionist, so if someone knocks, whoever is closest to the door usually gets it. It’s a very hands-on way to run things. We focus on the practical side of work, making sure our clients get what they need without any extra fluff or delays. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside and it gets a little noisy, but it’s just part of being in Hari Nagar. We don't have a corporate handbook telling us how to act or speak. We just treat each other with respect and try to stay on top of the daily pile of work. It’s a simple, local way of doing things, and it works for everyone here.
