Hanshika Buildwell is run out of House Number 11 in Block N-1, Mohan Garden, over in the Uttam Nagar area. We are located at Vandana Upadhyay’s place, which makes it feel much more like a family business than a big cold company. Uttam Nagar is a very busy part of West Delhi, and there is always some kind of construction going on around every corner. We focus on building work and making sure houses are constructed well. It is a practical business. We don't spend our time writing fancy mission statements or going to big conferences. We are usually too busy talking to contractors or checking on the quality of the bricks we just bought. The office is small and filled with papers and samples of tiles and paint. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with the noise from the street coming in through the windows, but we are used to it by now. We started this because we know the local area and we know what people need when they are trying to build a home. It is not always easy, and sometimes things go wrong, but we always try to fix them and keep going. We are just regular people working hard to make a living in the construction trade. There is nothing fancy about it, just a lot of sweat and effort every single day to get the buildings finished.
