We are located at 79 Pocket Bg 1 in Paschim Vihar, which is a pretty standard part of New Delhi to have an office. The area is filled with similar buildings and there is always something going on outside the window. Our space isn't very large, so we all sit fairly close together. This can be a bit noisy when everyone is on the phone at once, but you get used to the hum of the office pretty quickly. We have a few old desks and some shelves that are completely stuffed with folders and manuals. It’s not the kind of place you see in magazines, but it is where we do our real work every day. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive lighting. Instead, we just make sure the computers are working and the tea is hot. The commute can be a bit of a pain with the Delhi traffic, but once we are here, it’s a good environment. Most of us have worked here for a long time, so we know each other's habits well. We handle whatever comes our way, whether it's a lot of data entry or just organizing the files. It's a straightforward life here. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that; we just want to do a good job today and come back and do it again tomorrow. It’s a quiet pocket of the neighborhood, and we like that it feels more local and less like a business hub.
