Genpact

Our branch is over in Paschim Vihar, specifically at BG1 141 in New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how the blocks are laid out and how easy it is to get turned around if you don't know the numbers. We’re in a fairly busy spot, and the noise from the street is just part of the background music for our workday at Genpact. The building is a typical Delhi structure, a bit narrow but tall enough. We have computers set up on every available surface we could find. In the summer, the air conditioning struggles a bit against the Delhi heat, so we all have small desk fans to help out. It’s a very local vibe here; we know the guy who runs the stationary shop downstairs and the lady who sells fruit on the corner. The office gets a bit messy with papers and cables, but we know where everything is. It’s not a place for showing off, just a place for working. We have a small balcony where people go to catch a breath of air, though it’s usually just as hot out there. 110063 is the area code, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for some time. There’s a certain routine to the day, from the morning tea to the late-afternoon rush to finish everything before the metro gets too crowded for the commute home.
