Genpact

Our spot is at E 51A in East Uttam Nagar, over in New Delhi 110059. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how crowded and lively the streets can be. The Genpact office is located in one of those narrow lanes where there is always something going on outside. We can hear the rickshaws and the street vendors all day long. Inside, we try to keep things as quiet as we can so we can focus on the work. It’s a basic setup with some sturdy desks and old chairs that we’ve had for a while. The lighting isn't the brightest, but it does the job for the Genpact crew. Most of us take the metro and then walk or take a rickshaw to get to the building. It’s a bit of a squeeze when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We don't have any fancy decorations or a lounge area, just the workstations where the magic happens. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when the weather is bad, but usually, it’s fine for what we need. We get our lunch from the local stalls nearby, and the samosas are actually pretty good. It’s a hardworking environment and nobody really puts on any airs. We’re just local people doing our jobs in a busy part of the city. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when two people are passing each other in the hallway.
