Our spot is inside Westgate Mall at Raja Garden. It’s a different vibe being in a mall compared to a standalone shop. You have the constant hum of the air conditioning and the music from the main atrium. We spend a lot of time here, especially during the peak hours when the mall is full of people. Our space is usually packed with decorations and props because mall storage is always tight. We have to do most of our heavy moving late at night or very early in the morning when the shoppers aren't around. It can get pretty tiring, staying up through the night to set things up before the mall opens at ten. The staff here is used to the routine of Raja Garden. We know where the best cheap food is in the food court and which service elevators actually work. It’s not a shiny corporate office; it’s more like a workshop that happens to be in a mall. There’s always dust on the shelves and a pile of laundry from the table linens. We don’t really do the whole 'executive' look. We’re usually in t-shirts and jeans because we’re constantly lifting things. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes. Raja Garden is a loud, energetic place, and we’ve become a part of that noise over time.
