Freelancer On Contract

You can find me over in Rajouri Garden, New Delhi, at B3 16. I work as a freelancer on a contract basis. This means I take on specific jobs for a set amount of time and then move on to the next thing. It’s a way of working that suits me because I like variety. My office is just a room in my house where I keep all my gear. Rajouri Garden is a pretty popular area, and I’ve been here for years, so I’m very comfortable in this neighborhood. I don't have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy bios for me. I’m just writing this myself to let people know I’m here. My day-to-day is pretty straightforward. I wake up, have some tea, and then sit down to see what needs to be done on my current contract. Sometimes the work is intense and I’m busy for twelve hours straight. Other times, things are a bit slower. I don't mind the ups and downs of it. It’s just how freelancing goes. I don’t use any "we" or "us" because it’s just me. I handle the contracts, I do the work, and I send the invoices. It’s all very direct and honest. I like being able to walk around the local markets when I need a break from the screen. It keeps me sane while I’m working from home at B3 16.
