Freelance Designer.

Working as a Freelance Designer in New Delhi keeps me pretty busy. I use a Post Box, number 9622, over in Janakpuri for most of my official mail. This part of Delhi is always crowded and loud, but it has a lot of energy that helps with the creative side of things. I don't have a large office building with my name on it. Instead, I work from a small setup where I can keep my costs down and just focus on the actual design work. I handle all sorts of requests, from simple logos to more complicated layouts. My process isn't very formal. I usually just talk to people, figure out what they need, and then get to it. There are no long meetings or corporate reports here. It is just me and my tools. Some days I spend way too much time staring at a single color, trying to figure out if it is right, and other days the work just flows. Living in Delhi means you are always dealing with the heat or the smog, so I stay indoors mostly and keep the computer running. I don't make big promises about being the best in the world. I just do the work and hope it helps the people who asked for it. It is a one-person show, and I am fine with that for now. The Post Box helps keep things organized.
