Desire Creations

If you know Jail Road, you know how hectic it gets. Desire Creations is right in the middle of all that noise and energy. We’ve been working from this spot for quite some time now. It’s a straight-forward setup. We don't have a big sign with lights or anything. People just know us for the work we do. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on supplies. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work by staying organized, or at least trying to. There’s always someone coming in to ask a question or check on a price. We don’t do big fancy presentations. We just show you what we can do and let you decide. The street outside is always full of cars and people looking for furniture or clothes or whatever else they sell around here. It can be a bit much on the weekends, but it keeps the area alive. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It helps the day go by faster when we have a lot of small tasks to finish. We aren't trying to be the biggest place on the block. We just want to do a good enough job that people come back next time they need something made. It's a local business through and through, run by people who live nearby. We usually close up when the sun goes down and head home to our families, then do it all again tomorrow.
