Our place is located at 87 D Gh 10 in Sunder Apartments, which is over in Paschim Vihar. It’s a bit of a different setup because we are right there in a residential part of New Delhi. If you know the 110063 area, you know it’s mostly families and local shops around here. Ernst And Young has this spot where we get our work done away from the giant glass towers you see in the city center. It’s quieter, which is nice when we need to focus on the spreadsheets and the details of the day. Sometimes the neighbors are out walking their dogs or kids are playing nearby while we are inside looking at tax forms and audit papers. It feels more like a community spot than a corporate office. The rooms are filled with folders and desks tucked into corners where we can find some space. We don’t have a big cafeteria, so we usually just step out to the local market for a quick bite or some tea at the corner stall. Getting here can be a bit of a squeeze with the narrow streets and the parking situation, but we’ve all figured out the tricks by now. It’s a practical space where we just get on with the job. No one wears suits much unless there’s a big meeting. Most of the time, it’s just us working through the piles of documents that come our way every week.
