Diensten Web Solutions is based on the second floor of A-166/167 on Arya Samaj Road. This is right in the heart of Uttam Nagar, which is one of the busiest parts of West Delhi you can find. To get to us, you have to climb a couple of flights of stairs, which is our daily exercise. The office looks out over Arya Samaj Road, so there’s always something to see out the window—mostly traffic jams and people shopping at the stalls below. We have a fair amount of space here on the second floor, enough for a dozen or so people to work comfortably. It’s a bit of a mix of people; some are experts and some are just learning the ropes. We don’t have a corporate vibe at all. It’s more like a group of friends who happen to be good with computers. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the furniture is a bit mismatched, but it’s a functional workspace. We deal with all sorts of web stuff throughout the day. Lunchtime is usually a loud affair where we all gather around and share whatever we brought from home. It can get pretty hectic when a deadline is coming up, but mostly we just go about our business quietly. It’s a typical Delhi office—noisy, a bit messy, but full of hard-working people who actually care about what they are doing every day.
