Dhingra Motors

Our place is tucked away in Nilothi Extension, over at Himgiri Enclave A 87. It’s a bit of a drive if you aren't from this side of Delhi, but locals know where to find us. We mostly deal with engine stuff and general repairs for cars that come in. The garage has enough space for a couple of vehicles at a time. It gets greasy and messy, which is expected when you're working with oil and engines all day long. My hands are usually black by noon. We don't have a big waiting room with AC, just a few plastic chairs near the entrance. Most people just drop their cars off and come back later when we give them a call. Sometimes parts take a day or two to arrive if they aren't in stock. We try to be straight with people about what’s wrong. If a part can be fixed, we fix it instead of just throwing it away. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, except for when we’re testing an engine. We’ve been at this spot for some time. It's a small team here. We help each other out when a job is too heavy for one person. It isn't a flashy showroom, just a working garage where we spend most of our waking hours. We just focus on getting the cars back on the road for the people who rely on them.
