Design International

You can find us at the back side of F 173 in Karam Pura. We are up on the second floor. It’s New Delhi 110015, in case you’re looking it up on a map. The building for Design International is one of those typical ones in this part of town where you have to know where you’re going to find the right entrance. We’ve been in this spot for a bit. It’s a decent workspace, even if the stairs can be a bit of a workout. We do design work that reaches out a bit further, hence the name, but we’re just local people at the end of the day. There’s usually some tea going and a lot of talk about current projects. We don’t have a big reception desk or people in suits waiting for you. It’s more of a place where we just sit down and get to it. Karam Pura is always busy, so there's plenty of life outside the windows. Sometimes the noise from the street comes in, but we don’t mind. It makes the day go faster. We’ve built up a decent rhythm here over the years. We aren't into big speeches about what we do. If a job needs doing, we just put our heads down and finish it. It’s a practical way to run things and it works for us. We don't have much time for fluff. Just some desks, some computers, and a lot of coffee to keep us going through the afternoon.
