Design Gurukul

We are over in Kirti Nagar, on the second floor of Plot No. 104, 2B. If you know where Deepa Bhawan is, we are just a short walk from there. Kirti Nagar is famous for all its furniture shops and design studios, so it’s a good place for us to be located. The office is a bit of a climb since we are on the second floor and the stairs are narrow, but it’s a good space once you get up there. We focus on design education and consulting for people who want to learn. It’s a busy environment with people always asking questions or looking at sketches. We have a lot of books, samples, and teaching materials stacked up in every corner. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where to find things when we need them. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and informal. We don't use corporate jargon or have fancy titles for everyone. We just like talking about design and helping people understand it better through our own experiences. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have a few visitors at once, but we always make it work with some extra chairs. We’ve been in this building for a while now and the neighbors are all friendly people. We usually grab tea from the corner shop during our afternoon breaks. It’s a humble setup, but it’s perfect for what we do. We just try to keep things practical for our students.
