Continental Engg. Co. is located at B-20 in the Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase-II. Mayapuri is a busy, gritty place. There’s always scrap metal moving around and trucks backing into narrow spaces. We fit right in. Our shop is where we spend most of our lives. We do engineering and mechanical work. It’s a lot of hands-on labor. We’ve got lathes and drills and all sorts of equipment that’s seen a lot of use. We don't have a fancy office. Most of the space is taken up by the workshop. There’s a small desk in the corner where we keep the invoices. It’s dusty and noisy, but it’s our space. We’ve been in Phase-II for years. We’ve seen businesses come and go, but we’ve managed to stick around. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just fix things and make parts. If something is broken, we try to find a way to make it work again. It’s practical. We don't have a sales team. If the phone rings, one of us wipes our hands and answers it. We talk to people straight. No corporate talk or scripted answers. If we can do it, we say so. If we can't, we tell you that too. It’s an honest way to run a business. We just keep our heads down and work. That is all there is to it.
