Chetna Interior Craft

Our shop is tucked away in Mahipal Pur Rangpuri 409, and you can usually hear the sawing from the street. We spend most of our time working on wood and trying to make things fit into spaces where they probably shouldn't. It’s a lot of sawdust and measuring things twice, though sometimes we still have to trim a bit more off the end. People come to us when they need a cupboard or maybe some work done on their living room walls. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just us here with our tools and a lot of sketches drawn on scraps of paper. Sometimes the wood doesn't cooperate or a delivery is late, which happens more than we'd like in this part of town. We just keep at it until the job is finished. The floor is usually covered in shavings by noon, and we clean it up when we can. We've been at this address for a bit, and the neighbors know us as the guys who are always carrying planks in and out. It’s hard work, and your hands get pretty rough after a few years of it. We don't have a showroom with bright lights, just the actual workshop where the stuff gets built. If you drop by 409, you’ll probably find someone sanding something down or painting a frame. It’s what we do every day and we like it.
