Our work spot is located right near the Ring Road over in Paschim Enclave. If you’re familiar with the Paschim Vihar area, then finding us isn’t very difficult. Most working hours are spent looking at different fabrics and wood samples for the projects we have. The place usually gets a bit messy with all the design drawings and papers lying around on the tables, but everything has its own spot. It’s a busy corner of Delhi, so there’s always a lot of noise coming from the traffic outside. Starting this was a choice because we really liked working with our hands and seeing how different rooms come together in the end. It’s not always clean or pretty work, especially when there’s dust everywhere from cutting materials. A few guys help out with the heavy lifting and moving things around the shop. Sometimes staying quite late is necessary when a particular job is finally finishing up. Our neighbors are mostly used to the various sounds of work coming from our space by now. We aren’t big on showing off or having a shiny office. Getting the measurements right and making sure everything fits as it should is more important. The shop has a small feel, even if we take on bigger jobs now and then. Lunch is usually just tea and some snacks from the stall down the street. It’s a real place where actual work happens every single day without fail.
