Chaddha Children Hospital & Nursing Home

We have been here at 121 Guru Harkishan Nagar in Paschim Vihar for quite some time now. It is a busy place, mostly because kids always seem to be getting into something or catching a cold from school. The nursing home part stays active too. When we first opened up, we didn't realize how much the neighborhood would grow around us. Now, there are shops and houses everywhere. We try to keep things simple here. The waiting room gets crowded on Monday mornings, which is just how it goes in a hospital for children. Our staff mostly live nearby, so they know the shortcuts to get to work when the traffic in Paschim Vihar gets bad. We deal with everything from basic checkups to more serious things that require staying over for a night or two. It’s not a fancy glass building, but it works for what people need. Sometimes the toys in the corner get a bit messy, but that's expected when you have toddlers running around. We keep the files organized as best as we can. It feels like we know half the families on this street by now. People just walk in when they're worried about their little ones. It is a lot of work, and the days are long, but this is what we do. We’ve seen kids grow up from babies to teenagers right here in this building. It's just a regular part of the community now, tucked into Guru Harkishan Nagar.
